  • Tuesday = Bluesday

Yesterday was Aubrey's birthday. He is 7. Back in October his class did an election using a program his teacher found online. They had to plan a campaign and spend time and money to earn imaginary electoral votes. Aubrey won. He had to write out the plan for his presidency. I just got it from his teacher on his last day of school. Here you go:

I would change that every tuesday would be bluesday. Then you would haf to ware something blue. Next on Sunday you would haf to ware red and something black. Next you save people. Next I want to keep the erath helthy. After I want to help dockters. At last I want to help the world.

The teacher wrote up a little news release.

After several grueling months on the campaign trail, Republican Aubrey was declared the winner of the 2008 General Election as he won over 270 electoral votes.

A beaming Aubrey explained his campaign strategy by focusing on Homeland Security, Education, and Health Care. "Health care is very important because if we aren't healthy then we can't do things. We need security to stop bad guys from robbing stuff." Aubrey said.

Aubrey zeroed in on Pennsylvania, Virginia, and Florida. He also invested time and dollars in the Midwest and the Southwest, which earned him the necessary electoral votes to win the presidency.

"I like Georgia because my dad lives in this state," Aubrey said.

The new President will be sworn into office during the inauguration ceremonies on January 20.
