I want to tell you all about my daughter. She amazes me on a daily basis. Here she is in a tree in my parents back yard on Thanksgiving day with her cousin.
She is so graceful and good. She's a Virgo with Scorpio ascendant conjunct Pluto so she embodies this wise innocence. She doesn't miss much but she wouldn't dream of being rude enough to point out your unspoken secrets OR her own. Don't tell her fun secrets though because she's a big blabbermouth if it's something good.
Her cousin Sydney thinks she's the coolest big kid ever.
Today we had a spa day. I cut and colored her hair. We used henna so it's a gorgeous light auburn over her ash blond with her natural highlights shining through. She was so thrilled about the results. She said I'm a genius or something like that.
Here she is with my favorite k9 family member. She wants to be an animal behaviorist. She works with me at my shop and pulls as much weight as any of the adults. I could barely order my own meal in a restaurant at her age but she answers the phone, books appointments, gives kennel tours and handles the animals with confidence and skill.
She and her big brother have lived at their dad's house most of the year for the last seven. It's a long story for another post but she has recently expressed a desire to go switch to living with me primarily. I think it's a good decision and brave of her to choose to let her dad know that she wants to go. We're doing all we can to make it possible. Wish us luck!

she wants to move here full time. I think it will be very good for her.
